I am sorry that I did not know sooner of the passing of Durr Walker. He was a favorite at Co-Lin. I remember him taking our class out in the woods, having us sit down in the pine straw and fall colors, and leading us as we studied Walden.
A passionate man of many talents, he spent his life enriching the lives of others. Thank you for enlightening everyone you met with your love of music and literature, and for writing THE book I am always in search of.
To his family, whom I have never met - you already know you are blessed by having Dr. Walker in your family and lives. God bless you in the days ahead.

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Walker's passing. He was one of a kind and a truly fabulous Professor! He had so many wonderful gifts that he shared with the world! He was brilliant, yet so approachable. He chose to help his students find their God-given gifts and he had a knack for making all people feel special. He was so funny and his love of learning was absolutely contagious. I will miss him. We are praying for Kara, Mrs. Pat, Leigh Ann, and all of the grandchildren. I am sorry to hear about your loss. Dr. Walker was such an outstanding Instructor at Co-Lin whom I had the honor of having as well as my siblings. I have spent over thirty- seven years in education, and I credit him with so much. May God bless your family in the difficult days ahead. May you focus on those memories that you shared.
