Graveside Service for Ms. Wanda Elaine Twiner of McComb is at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 25, 2021

at New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Hazlehurst MS. Private family visitation is from 12:00 – 1:00 pm on Thursday at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

 

Ms. Wanda Elaine Twiner, 74, passed away February 21, 2021 in Meridian, MS. She was born on February 7, 1947,

to the late James Albert Twiner and Emma Evelyn Twiner.

She was a manager for the Department of Human Services. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

 

Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert and Evelyn Twiner; sister, Nannette Williams and brother, Jarvys Clyburn.

 

Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Wilburn Clyburn, James C. Twiner and Joe Twiner;

sisters, Sylvia Saxon, Nancy T. Hatcher and Winnie T Biddleman; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

    I was teenager, she joined all saints episcopal church. She gave me a lot love advice! Hit her knees when teenage girl needed it! My heart deeply broken, tell mom dad hello! I hope one day join you get those great we stay Sunday hugs! I deeply loved you, it was honor and taught me a lot, you were my cursillo sponsor and woke me up! Rest in peace!

    I would like to extend heartfelt sympathy to all of the family. Wanda was one of my favorite childhood friends. I have so many happy memories of the times we shared, especially in the 60’s. I’m so thankful to have reconnected with her through Facebook. She was a kind, humble, loving, Christian. Family was everything to her. Everyone who knows her family is reminded of the love and strong bond they share. Love to all, Elaine
