Robert “Sonny” Earl Taylor was born February 14, 1947, in Quitman, Mississippi
to A.I. “Bud” and Doris Goree Taylor, and died January 15, 2021, at University of
Mississippi Medical Center due to complications from congestive heart failure.
Robert was a coach and teacher in the Natchez Public Schools for 30 years and
then in Concordia Parish for 10 years.
Robert was a member of Eddiceton Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally Gagliardi Taylor and several aunts,
uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. William Carey Beeson, 85, of Brookhaven, MS, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 15, 2021,
at Haven Hall Healthcare Center. He was born November 24, 1935, in Brookhaven, MS, to
William Clarence Beeson and Clara Laird Allgood Beeson. He was a member of Bethel Temple
Pentecostal Church in Brookhaven. He worked at Samuels Furniture and Appliance for 45 years
or more and later owned and operated Beeson Appliance. He loved his family and his church family.
He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
Preceding him in death are his parents; his first wife, of 49 years, Bobbie Rials Beeson, his second
wife, of 15 years, Irene Deer Beeson; siblings, W. Cullen Beeson, K.C. Beeson, James L. Beeson,
Adolph Allgood, Harold Allgood, Bobby Lee Beeson, Lexie Allgood Walker, Annie Marie Allgood Beeson,
Nelleane Allgood Harveston Smith, Earnestine Allgood White McKey, Corrine Allgood Damico,
Flora Mae Forrest Steir, and Margaret Allgood Ritchie; son-in-law, Sammy Bates and stepdaughter, Susie Wall.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his two daughters, Karen Joy Moak (Jimmy) of Wesson, MS,
Reba Gale Bates of Collins, MS; two stepdaughters, Debby Simmons (Terry) of East Fork, MS, and
Sherry Wilson of Magee, MS; brother, Harold Ray Beeson (Ann) of Monticello, MS; grandchildren,
Dustin Moak, Amanda Burrell (Steve), Caryn Deen (Patrick); six step-grandchildren, Stephanie Dixon,
Casey Simmons (Rachael), Chris Lester, Jana Blalock (Bradley), Jason Wilson, and Anthony Wall;
one great granddaughter, Laryn Davis and two great grandsons, Dalton Burrell and Braylen Deen.
He is also survived by 13 step great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside service for Mr. Isaac Lafayette Turner, Jr. will be 1 p.m., Saturday,
January 16, at Beauregard Cemetery in Wesson, MS.
Mr. Turner, 75, of Wesson, passed from this life January 14, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in Grenada, Mississippi, November 21, 1945, to his parents,
Isaac Lafayette Turner, Sr. and Ruth Marie Timmons Turner. He was a
carpenter by trade and a member of Strong Hope Baptist Church. He was a
loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly
missed by all his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Gloria Turner; sons,
Scottie Turner, Van Turner (Anna), and Brad Turner; daughter, Kim Runyan (Dean); sisters,
Martha Hansen and B.J. Trotter; seven grandchildren, Brandon Runyan, Blake Runyan (Brandi),
Quentin Runyan, Bryce Runyan (Catarina), Natalie Turner, Ty Turner, Kendall Claire Turner, and
Oliver Runyan; one great grandchild, as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
Graveside service for Mr. Jack Butler Rawls will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2020, at Easthaven Cemetery.
Mr. Rawls, 86, of Bogue Chitto, passed from this life and entered eternity January 13, 2021.
He was born to John Smith Rawls and Lelia Butler Rawls, May 29, 1934. He was a member of Moak’s Creek Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include family members, Pete Rawls, Gale “Cooter” Rawls, and wife, Geraldine, and Elizabeth Rawls.

Mr. Melvin Edwin Case, 74, went to be with his Lord on January 12, 2021.
He was born on December 7, 1946 to the late, Louie Edwin Case and Leoma Thompson Kinsley.
Mr. Case served his country in the United States Army. He was self employed as an owner and operator of his trucking company.
He was a member of East Lincoln Baptist Church. He enjoyed farming, racing, trucking, riding horses, working on his land, and watching his cows.
He also enjoyed spending time with his family and going out to eat with them every Friday night. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Cloy Case, and his little dog, Minnie.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Norma Frances Case; son, Dewain Case and wife, Katasha;
daughter, Sheila Case Smith and husband, Chris; 4 grandchildren, Brooke Smith, Brieann Bessonette and husband Steven,

Mr. Tynes, 84, of Brookhaven, passed from this life January 11, 2021 at his residence.
He was born December 8, 1936, to his parents, Quin Tynes and Vera Mangun Tynes.
He was the owner of Tynes Gas Company and worked as a Realtor with Betsy Smith Realty.
Mr. Tynes was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Pete Tynes; and son-in-law, Mark Boyles.
Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Becky Tynes; son, Thomas Glyn Tynes, Jr. (Ann);
daughters, Teresa Grant (Rocky), Lisa Tew (Michael), Gwen Boyles, Margaret Chamblee (Mark), Robin Hammond (Chris);

James Ellis Gatlin, 76, passed from this life January 11, 2021 at King’s Daughters Medical Center
in Brookhaven, Mississippi. He was born December 8, 1944 to his parents, Bennie William Gatlin
and Annie Bell Hawkins. After graduation he went into the United States Air Force and served
during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he worked as a machine operator for various
companies, finally retiring as a Dredge Operator with the State of Mississippi at Barnett Reservoir.
James was a member of Moak’s Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and all
family gatherings. His presence will be missed forever.
He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and one sister.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Thomas Ann Smith Gatlin; sons, Chris C. Gatlin (Barbara),
Todd P. Gatlin (Vicki); one sister, Shelby Davis; 12 grandchildren, Austin Gatlin, Gabe Moore,
Allisen Moore, Destiny Gatlin, Natalie Moore, Corey Gatlin, Josh Gatlin, Jon Gatlin, Ethan Gatlin,
Maggie Sigur, Paige Gatlin, and Griffin DeJean; three great grandchildren and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Mable Lea Gibson, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 10, 2021. She was born on September 18, 1925 in Brookhaven, MS to the late Addie and J.C. Tarver. She graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1944. Mable was a member of Union Hall Baptist Church.
She went to beauty school after working at Stahl Urban for seven years. She had a beauty shop at her home for 45 years. Some of her favorite hobbies were crocheting, gardening, fishing, and sewing. She used her sewing skills to make items for hospice patients. She also made clothes for children on the mission field.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband of 64 years, Charles Gibson, and all of her siblings: Louis Tarver, Guy Tarver, Buddy Tarver, Frank Tarver, Clarence Tarver, Bill Tarver, Baby boy- Russell Tarver, Eula Mae Howell, Rita Fay Hill, Ruth King, Ida Mae Lofton.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are her daughters, Dianne Sunman, Kay Gibson, and Sarah Boyd (Ken Boyd). She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Stacey Boyd Jackson, Brian Boyd (Karissa Boyd), Michael Sunman (Jennifer Sunman), and Jeffrey Sunman (Michelle Luecking Sunman).
She has 11 great grandchildren: Kendall Jackson, Cade Jackson, Chloe Boyd, Brianna Claire Boyd, Addison Boyd, Adeline Boyd, Hayden Sunman, Connor Sunman, Rory Sunman, Jillian Sunman, and Annabeth Sunman. She was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Kendall Jackson, Cade Jackson, Marcus Jackson, Jeffrey Sunman, Tony Rogers, and Brian Boyd. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Lee Berry.

Services for Christopher Ryan Spear are 11:00 am Wednesday, January 13, 2021
at Springs of Praise Church with burial at Ashley Cemetery in Hazlehurst MS.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, January 12 at the Church.
Christopher Ryan Spear, 25, was born on May 31, 1995.
He left his earthly home on January 7, 2021. He was the
first born of four boys. Most will remember Ryan as a
passionate musician, who played the guitar in his church,
Springs of Praise,as well as spending countless hours
making music and performing for crowds.
Ryan graduated from Wesson Attendance Center in 2013
where he enjoyed playing football and spending time
with his friends.
He pursued a career in the Marine transportation industry.
Ryan never met a stranger and he brought smiles to every
face he met. He was a big hugger so whenever you saw him,
there was no doubt you were getting a huge hug.
Most of all and most importantly, Ryan was a God-fearing man
and Christian. He spent most of his Sundays, if not all,
in church with his youth group and friends.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents,
Joseph and Marie Brewer Cooper, and James Louis Spear;
and his maternal great-grandmother, Jeanette Brewer.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents,
Jeanette and Jason Cheroni; his three younger brothers,
Noah Spear, James Spear and Ashley Cheroni; his
great-grandfather, John “PawPaw Doc” Brewer; and his
paternal grandparents, Lynn and Newton Starnes and Freddie
and Evelyn Cheroni; an uncle, Christopher Berry;
a great-aunt, Cathy Sanders; a great-uncle Ernie Brewer; and a host
of cousins and other family members and friends.

Sandra Kimble Smith, 50, went to be with her Lord on January 10, 2021 at Kings Daughters Medical Center.
She was born on March 12, 1970 to James Louis Kimble and Marjorie Parden Kimble.
Sandra worked as a Loan Processor for Bank of Brookhaven. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend,
and will be missed by all who loved and knew her. She was a faithful member of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Preceding her in death were her father; husband, Stacey Smith; mother-in-law, Glenda Smith, and father-in-law, James “Jimmy” Smith.
