Mr. Thomas Wade Boone, 59, passed away January 30, 2019 at King’s Daughters Medical Center.
He was born on January 11, 1960 to the later Frank and Bobbie Boone.
Mr. Boone was a retired business owner in the Oil & Gas Industry and a member of Charity Baptist Church.
He loved the Lord and his church family. He also loved spending time with his family and supporting his
grandchildren in all their activities. His hobbies were cooking and listening to all kinds of music.
Preceding him in death are his parents; an infant brother and brother, Floyd Boone.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Debbie Smith Boone; daughters,
Stephanie Cliburn and husband, Steven, Jessica Killen and husband Scott; brother, Frank Boone, Jr. and wife Beckie;
sister-in-law, Judy Boone; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth and Bennett Cliburn, Waylon and Dylan Killen
and 1 great granddaughter, Kloie Cliburn and a host of nieces and nephews and many great friends.
The funeral service for Mrs. Gussie Kathleen "Kathy" Nettles Case will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2019, at
Johnson Grove Church of Christ, with interment at Case Family Cemetery, at Tracy Case’s home. Visitation
will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, at Johnson Grove.
Mrs. Kathy Case, 73, went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2019. She was born on April 27, 1945, to
William Curtis Nettles and Flora Laird Nettles. Mrs. Kathy was the heart of her home, a loving wife,
mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Mt Zion Church of Christ and a treasured member
of her community. She will be missed by all those who love her.
Mrs. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left here to cherish her memory are, her husband, Charles Case; son, Richard Case and
wife, Sharon; daughter, Tracy Case; sisters, Gloria Lofton and Flora Crook; and four grandchildren,
Brittani Case, Emily Powers, Sara Case, and Shayla McGuffee.
Services for Ms. Nadine Mickles Roderick of McComb are 11:00 am Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.
Mrs. Nadine M. Roderick passed away on Jan. 30, 2019 in McComb, Mississippi.
She was born on June 16, 1949 to Ernest Mickles Sr. and Sammie W. Mickles in Mobile, Alabama.
She was the third child of her parents’ union.
Nadine graduated from Mattie T. Blount High School in Mobile, Alabama. Shortly after graduating,
she moved to Miami, Florida, where she completed a few college courses and later married Albert Joseph Roderick.
Upon their union, they bore a daughter.
She accepted God at a very early age. Throughout her life, she lived in various cities, such as: Miami, Florida;
Providence, Rhode Island; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Gary, Indiana; Meadville and McComb, Mississippi.
She was a hard worker and provider for daughter. Throughout her work career she was a supervisor
and manager for various companies, as well as a caregiver for her mother.
Nadine was a very caring person who was always concerned about the needs of others.
She lived fully with love, honesty, strength and a belief in God. She enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling,
fishing, gardening and cooking.
Preceding her in death are her parents Mr. Ernest and Sammie Mickles, brother Ernest Mickles II,
sister-in-law Catherine Mickles and brother-in-law Raymond Roderick.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise Roderick Williams; former son-in-law Charles L. Williams;
brother Rayford Mickles; sisters-in-law Paulette Mickles, Katherine Roderick and Lynne Roderick;
brothers-in-law Manny Roderick and Stevie Roderick; nieces Latrice M. Blyther and Danielle M. Russell;
nephews Rayford Mickles II, Rodney Mickles, Ryan Carlisle, and Brandon Mickles;
a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service for Mr. David Chance “Dugan” Thompson will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2019,
at Riverwood Family, with interment at Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 p.m.,
Friday, February 1, 2019, at Riverwood.
Mr. David Chance Thompson, 36, of Brookhaven, passed from this life on January 30, 2019, at his residence.
He was born April 16, 1982, to Felix Nelson Thompson and Judith Elaine Thames Walker. He worked as a
Compass Man with Seismic Survey. Chance enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. Spending time with
his family was important to Chance, he will be missed by all who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Johnny and Paralee Thompson and Donald and
June Thames; and by his cousins, John Thompson and William “Bubba” Thompson.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his wife, Shannon Thompson; mother and stepfather, Judy and
James Walker; son, David Vance Thompson; daughters, Harmonie Eliana Thompson and Emma Nicole Thompson;
brother, Lee Thompson and wife Renee’; sisters, Lacy Thompson and Kersey Walker; he is also survived
by his nieces, Danyell, Katlyn, Hailee, Katie, Hanna, and Ashley; nephew, Gage; and his great nieces, Brooklyn and Ryleigh.

February 3, 2019 at Fresh Anointing United Pentecostal at 2031 E Whitworth St.
in Hazlehurst.
Mr. James Edward Cliburn 77 of Hazlehurst, went to be with his Lord on January 29, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center.
He was born on July 26, 1941 to the late Walter Bennett Cliburn and Theola Eugenia Cliburn.
He was retired from the United States Air Force and was self employed as a
Residential Drywall Contractor and was a member of Fresh Anointing United Pentecostal Church.
Preceding him in death are his parents.

Mrs. Mary Nell Teasley, 86, went to be with her Lord on January 29, 2019 at Country Brook Living Center.
She was born on August 25, 1932 to the late Troy Sloan Malone and Nellie Wilks Malone.
She was a member of Ruth Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, visiting and spending time with her family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Thomas Ray Teasley; brothers, Milford and Ray Malone;
and son-in-laws, Johnny Rials and Jimmy Lambert.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Christine Rials of Brookhaven and Tommie Lambert of Ruth;
sisters Bessie Corken, Virginia Dixon and Betty Jean Thompson, all of Wesson.

The funeral service for Mrs. Josie Gulino Rhodus will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2019,
at Terry’s Creek Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 9:00 a.m.
until time of the service Friday.
Mrs. Josie Gulino Rhodus, 77, of Magnolia, MS, passed from this life on January 28, 2019 at her residence.
She was born in Independence, Louisiana, to Jim and Mary Gagliano Gulino. She was employed with the
South Pike School System as a Bus Driver. Mrs. Josie leaves a legacy of love. She was a very special wife,
mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Spending time with her grandchildren was the most important
thing to her. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones, her friends at Terry’s Creek Baptist Church,
and by her two much loved “fur babies”, Cena and Molly.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Kelly Wayne Rosata.

Mr. Anthony John “Tony” Damico, 69, of Brookhaven, passed from this life on January 27, 2019,
at his residence. He was born September 16, 1949, to Anthony John Damico, Sr. and Clara Allgood Damico.
He was a Small Engine Repairman and he served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Damico is preceded in death by his parents and his infant brother, Paul Damico.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his sister, Mary Ann Norwood;
nephew, Paul Vanover and wife, Courtney and their children, Megan and Madison;
niece, Sylvia Teasley and husband, Matthew.

He was born on January 13, 1934 to the late Sam and Alma Cobb.
He played basketball and football at Co-Lin High School.
He retired with 20 years service from the United States Air Force
and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
