Dear Ty and family: So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Lavern was my first cousin along with James and John. My mother (Aunt Pearl) was a Wallace before she married my father.
I have not lived in Mississippi since 1973 (Florida, Biloxi, Ms., El Paso, Tx. Vicenza, Italy, Munich, Germany, Louisville, Ky, and Dallas). Worked as a civilian for U.S. Army.

So sorry Ty, Kay and Spencer. It is never easy to lose those you love. Vern was loved by all for sure. Praying for you as you journey through life without her.

I’m so sorry to hear this! Lavern was such a sweet lady and so funny. I’m going to miss her. My husband Bill and I went to see her several times at trend. She was always upbeat. She’s walking with Jesus now.

    With sympathy,
    Deborah and Bill Smith
