Mr. Pete Barham, Sr., 62, of Sontag, MS, passed from this life February 20, 2021. He was born
April 28, 1958 to his parents, Howard Van Barham and Betty Jo Smith Barham. He was employed
in the oilfield industry and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Pete was an avid outdoorsman,
enjoying fishing and hunting as well as any kind of mechanical work and racing. Some would
say he was best at “bossing” others around. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his former wife, Konnie Langley; son, Perry “Pete” Barham, Jr.
and wife, Tasha; daughter, Avery Barham; brothers, David Barham and wife, Denice, and
Robert “Bob” Barham; sisters, Charlotte Lea and Bella Surrett and husband, Rob; five grandchildren,
Peyton Barham, Maci Daley, Phisher Francis, Neeley Walker, and Abel Walker, as well as his
former mother-in-law, Jeanette Smith and other loving family members and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
