  Archie was truly a legend in his own time. He was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Jason and Rachel and families, we are praying for comfort for you all.   No, genealogical records do not authenticate any family connection, but yet for many years I’ve called him “Uncle Archie.” To say he had a zest for life is actually an understatement. This man’s personality was enviable. I’ve never met anyone from Franklin County, MS who didn’t know him. He’s helped countless people.
  
  His love for me and my family was readily apparent and unconditional. This love only intensified after Karen’s death in 2003. While I’m deeply saddened by his departure from this life, I find solace in the promise that we will be see him again in the day of the resurrection! “Aunt Margie,” Jason, and Rachel, thanks for sharing this wonderful man with us.

  Our condolences to the family. Archie was the same great man no matter where we saw him. Never a dull moment. I’ll never forget his visits to our home just to sit and share some laughter. RIP Archie. Greatly missed.

  The family is in our prayers and thoughts. My parents are Troy and Clara Bell Allen. Archie is my Momma cousin. My parents has told me stories about Archie. When I was little we would visit him and his family. Archie was a good man and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him. RIP Archie
