Willie Virginia Dixon

Services for Mrs. Willie Virginia Dixon, of Wesson, will be 2:30 pm, Sunday, July 19, 2020,

New Sight Baptist Church with burial at New Sight Cemetery.

Visitation is from 1:30 pm until the time of the service on Sunday at the church.

 

Mrs. Willie Virginia Dixon, 92, went to be with her Lord on July 16, 2020, at her residence.

She was born on October 1, 1927, to the late Troy Sloane Malone and Nellie May Wilks Malone.

 

Mrs. Dixon was a member of New Sight Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Edgar Scott; son, Roy;

daughter, Troylynn and husband, James Furlow; two brothers and three sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Hillary Dixon; son, Mike McDavid,

daughter, Sandra Martin along with 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson,  and a host of nieces and nephews.

    I was so sad to hear about Ms Virginia.
    She was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known and I enjoyed her friendship
    So much. With God’s Grace she showed everyone so much love and she will be so missed. Prayers for all of you.

    Dear Mr. Hillary, I just saw about Mrs. Virginia! I fell in love with you both when we first met at Brookway Baptist Church the day y’all came to visit!
