A celebration of life will be held for Ronnie Dale Malone, Sr., 2:30 p.m., Saturday March 22, at Riverwood, with burial in New Sight Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m., Friday, March 21, at Riverwood and will resume from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
Mr. Malone, 71, of Wesson, died March 17, 2025, at his residence. He was born on August 30, 1953, to Milfred Malone and Georgia Thompson Malone. He was a member of New Sight Baptist Church and was a constant witness of all the Lord Jesus had done for him. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing and just being outside. He loved spending time with his grandkids, and he will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Mr. Malone is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Troy Malone (Faye), Johnny Malone (Betty), and Charles Malone.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anita Johnson Malone; children, Ronnie Malone (Hollie), Timothy Malone (Heather); brother, Kenneth Malone (Pat); sister-in-law, Shirley Malone; eight grandchildren, Jathan Thomas (Abbie), Jaye Thomas (Anna), Van Malone (Hannah), Graci Malone Clark (Jaden), Jordan Thomas, Ian Malone, Gunner Malone, Carter Malone; five great grands, Reed Thomas, Aubree Thomas, Jensen Thomas, Jeremiah Thomas, and Halle Clark. He is also survived by Layla Howard and Kaysen Beard who were like grandchildren to him.
The family would like to thank his caregivers, Nicole Steele and Karlie Harris, for their unwavering support through the illness of their beloved husband and father.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Arden Hospice team for their compassionate care and support during Dale’s final days.
